Hive system ok customer service is non existent, web chat is terrible they start to type saying hi what's the problem then nothing to your replies just keep sending hi how can I help you I had Phumelela and Mihle I came to the conclusion they were just online to wide me up, or had no idea how the system worked or a clue about the problem .sent emails which were blocked by official site ,sent more emails to addresses I had found on the net ,had a reply saying they couldn't answer my query by email and I should go by the chat or by the community ,how do you run customer services for clients in this way ,by having no responsibilities' for your product or customer services. Relying on past customers to answer your questions Pathetic. and to send an email saying you cant use that service for emails ,well what can I say other than I would not get hive due to the back up is not availableUpdate to review after a pathetic reply from hive customer care not answering a single point They could only state they are trying to improve I don't think they have a clue. Care non existent and in total denial Absolutely pathetic team with no clue

The Hive itself is fantastic. 2nd month into a payment plan to pay for it and for the life of me I can’t make a successful payment. I just keep getting warnings about my missed payment when I’ve spoken to customer services about it and tried paying through 3 different accounts. Made the decision more stressful than it’s worth.

Nice and does what it says

Nice and does what it says. Shame that you don’t get a stand (even a relative cheap one) as default, forcing you to buy something more if you don’t want the thermostat wall mounted.

Hive was due to be fitted 4/5/21 all…

Hive was due to be fitted 4/5/21 all day appointment and at 17-45 pm engineer said he could not make appointment After numerous calls to British Gas and hive a new appointment could not be agreed Money is being returned not what I wanted but after the treatment I was given it was only solution Not happy to say the least

Shocking service- avoid unless you have lots of time to wait in and to try and contact live chat

Found out the installation would not be happening, after the time that it should have happened. My husband had taken a day off work for an appointment that did not happen, money had also been deducted from my account on direct debit. Should have received a call that afternoon with a manager. Did not receive a call. Had to chase up almost a week later when I hadn't heard anything. Live chat useless and took ages to be connected. First chat timed out when the operator did not repond. Second operator couldn't solve the issue so now waiting for someone else to contact me. I only want to cancel the order and get a refund for goods and service not provided!

The Hive thermostat does not seem to…

The Hive thermostat does not seem to have many advantages over our old one except that we can move it around.I was expecting a completely Amozon Eco Dot but this hasn't arrived.

Just got the hive thermostat and the whole house has never been this warm and the app is excellent so easy to use.

Only put 1 because can’t put zeroStay away from this company their customer service is appealing!!!Ordered hive in January and was given a install date at the end of February!! Close to install date received a text! Yes a text saying they were moving it back to June! Phoned the company 7 times every time with no resolution! Hive blamed British Gas and vice versa! On one occasion the hive team even put me through to the warranty team at British Gas! Eventually after 3 weeks was told to return the product for a refund! As I had bought additional products had to returns which were return at exactly the same time! There was a difference in the price of nearly £300 surprise surprise they refunded the cheap item but I had to chase them for a refund of the more expensive item! The only credit I can give is once I got on the chat after having no reply to my emails the guy on chat said they were refunding and there was a delay because there was more than one item on second box although there was only 6! If you want great service stay away from his company

Early days

Early days yet but so far so good seen one or two important issues for you to deal with in National papers recently, let’s see how they are dealt with.
